Day 1 – Abastumani – Zekari Pass – Sairme

In the morning, we will drive from Tbilisi to Abastumani, where our mountain bike adventure begins.

From Abastumani, we will ride through the spectacular landscapes of Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park and begin a challenging 17 km climb towards Zekari Pass. After reaching the high mountain pass, we will be rewarded with spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

From Zekari Pass, we will begin a long and exciting descent of approximately 40 km towards the mountain resort of Sairme. This route offers a fantastic combination of challenging climbs, long descents, remote mountain landscapes, forests, and beautiful views.

At the end of the ride, we will have the opportunity to relax in an outdoor thermal pool in Sairme — a perfect way to recover after a long day of mountain biking.

After some time to relax, our support vehicle will transfer us to Kutaisi, where we will check into a local hotel.

In the evening, we will enjoy dinner at a traditional Georgian restaurant, where you can experience authentic Georgian cuisine and local wine. Afterwards, there will be free time to walk around Kutaisi and enjoy the city.

Tour Duration: Approximately 6–7 hours
Cycling Distance: 57 km
Meals Included: Breakfast and lunch
Overnight: Kutaisi

Day 2 – Kutaisi – Cultural Highlights & Cycling

After an early breakfast, we will begin the day by visiting some of the most important historical and cultural landmarks around Kutaisi, including Gelati Monastery and Bagrati Cathedral.

We will then continue towards the Sataplia Nature Reserve and Prometheus Cave, two of the most fascinating natural attractions in western Georgia. At Sataplia, we will have the opportunity to discover preserved dinosaur footprints, while Prometheus Cave offers an impressive underground world of spectacular rock formations.

The day combines light cycling with sightseeing, Georgian history, and some of the most interesting natural attractions in the Kutaisi region.
