Map Rotation for TDM – Favorites and Flops So Far
Been playing nothing but Team Deathmatch in BO6 and I’ve got strong opinions on the current map pool. Some mabo6 bot lobbiesps are chef’s kiss for 6v6, and others are just chaos incarnate.
Favorites:
Citadel Grounds – This one’s a TDM dream. Balanced lanes, smart verticality, and clean sightlines. Mid control is crucial, but flanking is always possible.
Urban Spine – Fast-paced but with clear flow. Perfect for SMG builds and hit-and-run tactics. Matches here fly by.
Dry Docks – Classic three-lane feel with great sniper spots. Slower pacing but makes for strategic play.
Least Favorites:
Twilight Terminal – It looks cool, sure, but the sightlines are all over the place and spawn flipping is constant.
Subsurface Core – Too many tight corners and rat spots. TDM becomes a camp-fest here.
I think TDM lives or dies by map design more than any other mode. If the flow’s not right, the whole match feels off. Hopefully Treyarch tweaks the rotation soon and maybe even introduces map voting again?
