Optimizing product feed on CARRERA 2000PC, manual already found

My‍‌‍‍‌ friend and I recently started a small workshop producing eco-bars. We bought a second-hand ILAPack CARRERA 2000PC packaging line at a very cheap price. The machine is physically very strong, but really our struggle was to make it work with our super thin film. The film was tearing on edges and, when we changed the speed, sealing was very poor... I was looking for some advice on the internet and, fortunately, I came across manualmachine.com website, which have user manual with comprehensive guide to sealing jaw temperature settings and product feed synchronization. It gave me an insight into the process. However, could someone explain to me how to set the photo-eye sensor so that the print on the package stays in position even after one hundred cycles?

Hey, that’s a great line—definitely a powerful start for your format! With the photo-eye on the Carrera 2000PC, issues often arise if the optics are a bit dusty or if the film has too much glossy reflection. Try first carefully cleaning the sensor lens with isopropyl alcohol and checking the roll tension—if it’s uneven, the mark will constantly slip. By the way, what kind of film are you using, paper or polypropylene? This really affects the temperature adjustment steps for the sealing jaws. I’m not a professional in this area, but I’ll try to help!
