Mountain bike Georgia Svaneti

Svaneti is a historic province of Georgia, in the northwestern part of the country. It is inhabited by the Svans, an ethnic subgroup of Georgians. Svaneti is known for its architectural treasures and picturesque landscapes. The botany of Svanetia is legendary among travelers. The famous Svanetian tower houses, erected mainly in the 9th-12th centuries, make the region’s villages more attractive. In the province are dozens of Georgian Orthodox churches and various fortified buildings. Architectural monuments of Upper Svaneti are included in a list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

if you want to see that treasures you can travel with us. we got group and visited Svaneti for 5days those days were amazing as for us as our guests.





Day one-we visited Dadian Palace and Enguri Dam. The Dadiani Palaces History and Architecture Museum is considered to be one of the most eminent palaces in Caucasus.The Dadiani Palaces History and Architecture Museum houses some exhibits of natural cultural heritage of Georgia – Tagiloni treasure materials, Mother of God holy vesture, the icon of queen Bordokhan – mother of queen Tamar of Georgia, manuscripts from 13th – 14th centuries, miniatures, memorial relics of Dadiani dynasty, and objects connected to emperor of France Napoleon Bonaparte – brought to the palace by the husband of David Dadiani's daughter, prince Achille Murat, grandson of Napoleon's sister, Caroline Bonaparte.when we arrived Enguri Dam from there we started ride by bike till khaishi from khaishi our support car took us in Msetia and we overnight there in nice guest house.




Day two-In the morning we got ready for long ride from Mestia to beautiful Koruldi lakes where is amazing views of Caucasus mountains, Mountain Ushba, Mountain tetnuldi. From there we are riding descent on very beautiful single track to Chalaidi glacier. we leaved our bike in support car and walk last kilometer till Chaladidi glacier. The height of the glacier is 1850 meters. Chalaadi is the only glacier that extends into the forest zone. The glacier is fed by the mountain streams Bzhedukhi, Chatini and Dalaqori.





Day three- In the morning we decided to visit mountain Hatsavli and Heshkili huts the weather was wonderful from there we could see nice mountain Ushba which has an elevation of 4,690 m (15,387 ft). in the evening we went to the restaurant drunk little bit and danced.




day four- in the morning we prepared for long ride from Mestia to Ushguli. This road was amazingly nice. Ushguli is a community of four villages located at the head of the Enguri gorge in Svaneti, Georgia. Recognized as the Upper Svaneti UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ushguli is one of the highest continuously inhabited settlements in Europe. Compared to somewhat more developed towns like Mestia, Ushguli isn't in an accessible location, which has preserved many of the villages' characteristics. Ushguli is located at an altitude of 2,100 metres (6,900 ft). that day we walked mountain Shkhara one of the highest summits of the Greater Caucasus mountains elevation 5,193 m (17,000 ft).






day five-Last day from Ushguli we went Kutaisi throw Lentekhi. we saw Cave of Promete, Cave Sataplia which was discover Fossilized dinosaur footprints and also saw Museum of Stalini the leader of the Soviet Union, who was born in Gori. The Museum retains its Soviet-era characteristics. after long journey we stopped tradition restaurant and got pleasure for live songs and dances.
